Project description :

SFPPN is a rail and port logistics hub that provides rail transportation and ore handling services to natural resource companies working on the North Coast and in Newfoundland and Labrador.

In response to meet the growing needs of this sector, SFPPN has undertaken work to update its equipment. This work includes the creation of rain and cast iron retention basins loaded with suspended iron as well as a new conveyor, along with the improvement of the electrical systems.

Project description :

Project description :

In order to meet the environmental requirements of the project, a wastewater treatment plant was required to manage the water contained in the tailings pond of this gold mine.

Main contaminants of interest: WAD cyanide, heavy metals (aluminum, copper, iron, zinc), nitrates, ammonia nitrogen, molybdenum and suspended solids.

Planning of a waste-to-chemicals plant in Spain

Project description :

Enerkem, Agbar and Repsol will build the first waste-to-chemicals plant in the Iberian Peninsula in El Morell (Tarragona), Spain. This is an innovative project in the renewable chemicals industry. The facility will be the first of its kind in Spain dedicated to the commercial production of environmentally friendly methanol from feedstocks derived primarily from pretreated non-recoverable waste. Under the direction of the Ecoplanta Molecular Recycling Solutions joint venture, the plant will process approximately 400,000 tons of non-recyclable municipal solid waste from the surrounding areas and produce 220,000 tons of methanol.

The Côté Gold project is a mining project located in Northern Ontario.
